Paloma
Hairdressing Salon, Founder PALOMA Salon
Connecting with people, the joy of self-care, two loveable and highly energetic kids, and a lifelong obsession with the art of great hair – these are the things that light up Paloma Garcia. As the founder and sole owner of Paloma Salon, she thrives on the thrill and challenge of operating a dynamic business. Renowned for her passion and drive, Paloma is as famous for her impeccable cuts as she is for her boundless energy.
Paloma’s love affair with hairdressing began at the tender age of 13 when she took a Saturday job at a salon, sacrificing the weekends of her youth to learn everything she could about the art form that quickly captured her heart. She completed her apprenticeship at what was then one of Sydney’s top salons, Synergy, which eventually became Oscar Oscar. Her talent and dedication quickly earned her a partnership in the company. Paloma honed her skills at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, where she trained not once, not twice, but thrice. Working annual Sydney Fashion Weeks alongside some of the best in the business and running a successful salon prepared her to venture out on her own. In 2012, Paloma Salon opened its doors, and the rest, as they say, is history.
“I don’t take what I do lightly. I know the beautiful and positive impact hairdressers can have. I love connecting with people and deeply value the special space I hold with my guests.” – Paloma Garcia, Founder of PALOMA Salon
Beyond the warmth and sincerity Paloma brings to her business, her strength lies in her skill as a master cutter. Designed specifically for the individual characteristics of the client – their hair type, face shape, lifestyle, and personality – Paloma’s precision cuts are effortless, wash-and-wear styles that are easy to maintain and tailored to amplify the natural beauty of whoever sits in her chair.
Currently on maternity leave, Paloma provides Unobtanium members with one-on-one private consultations and styling.
